GED Information

The General Education Development (GED) test is a high school equivalent test that is divided in 4 parts:
  • Mathematical Reasoning (Duration: 115 Minutes)
  • Language Arts Reasoning (Duration: 150 Minutes)
  • Social Studies (Duration: 70 Minutes)
  • Science (Duration: 90 Minutes)
Total cost for the GED test is subject to GED.com current rates.
Availability for test: Make appointments for each test at GED.com. All appointments and fees are handled through GED.com. Tehachapi Adult School offers a GED preparation program which helps prepare students to take the GED test.

Tehachapi Adult School offers a variety of ESL classes to assist in meeting the needs of students at various skill levels of English language proficiency. We offer courses for students from the pre-literate or non-reading or writing level (Level 0) to the advanced levels (Level 5). Classes are held on Mondays 4 pm-6 pm at 126 S. Snyder Ave. at 126 S. Snyder Ave.
